A mere four weeks from rehearsal the hottest Australian writers pitch ideas in response to the developments, dreams and dilemmas of the world right now. A single idea is chosen and it’s all systems go to create a brand new play in time for opening night. This is edge of your seat drama created at light speed.

We’ve no idea what it’s going to be about but we can guarantee something exhilarating, enticing and topical that no-one’s seen before.

Rapid Write brings a unique international scheme to Australia, combining the cream of local theatre talent with London’s multi-award winning Theatre503 and its co-artistic director Tim Roseman.

Theatre doesn’t get much more immediate than this.
